Hi MariaBlue,
Sorry to hear about your fish. You did the right thing by observing Agario and investigating the cause. I hope you can resolve the issue soon and get your loach back to his happy self!

Variations in the patterns on the Level Devil - NOT A Troll Game fish's body (especially in juveniles, there is often a clear "YO-YO" pattern, which fades into complex mesh patterns as they grow) How should this fish be kept so that they reproduce well? Anyone who knows, please tell me!

Re: clown loach compatibility with angelfish, zebra loaches, yoyo and pleco
I would think the extra space in the 1704 liter tank could help mitigate the angelfish being bothered by the loaches. And with that out of the way, I know of nothing in particular preventing them getting along. Speed Stars With regards to yoyos and clowns, although I don't have enough experience wi...

Re: Bio Media Question
I asked this of a shop keeper who was trying to sell me some new media with some ridiculously high surface area, and it stumped him - so I'm tossing it out here. The selling point on a lot of biological media is surface area - X has more surface area than Y, so you get better bio-filtration. My que...

Re: we can rehome your clown loach beds/herts/bucks
It's great to see someone as dedicated as you are to Retro Bowl creating a suitable environment for their clown loaches! The filtration system with 2 FX5s and powerheads in the 400L tank is definitely providing a steady flow and ideal environment for the fish.

Re: Clown loach behaviour
Make sure you are performing regular water changes (e.g. 25-30% weekly) and Speed Stars checking water parameters such as ammonia, nitrite, nitrate, pH, and temperature. Clownfish are very sensitive to poor water quality.

Re: World's oldest Clown Loaches reach 30 years of age.
Wow! My six Clown Loaches have made it to 30 years of age! Escape Road I joined Loaches Online Forum on Dec 26, 2010 and back then I didn't know if my Clown Loaches would even make it to 20 years of age as one of the established members here lost their old Clown Loach which was 19 years of age. But...

That's an interesting observation! I hadn't thought about loaches in terms of their oil content. Is there anything specific that sparked your comment? Are you thinking about their dietary needs or perhaps their texture when prepared as food? Curve Rush
