A QT in my opinion should not be larger than 15-25 Gal.since you will dissolve medications in it,the bigger it is the bigger the the amount of medication. you should also have a spare filter running in your main tank if possible so it will be well seeded and ready for QT,a decent powerhead can also ...

You know I'm trying to have a few loaches of different varieties in my community tank without disturbing the peace,it looks like 6 sumo loaches might be a good addition.

Bigal ,in Toronto is selling "SUMO LOACHES".
I have never heard of sumo loaches,have you?

Water has been great.good bio filtration.

The best way to get rid of green water is a UV sterilizer.you could also use a diatom filter but it's not as efficient.
