Mystery illness on zebra loaches
I have a large (75g) tank with 3 zebra loaches, yoyo loaches, and a few assorted catfish. About a 2 months ago one of the zebra loaches stopped eating and lost weight. After isolating him in a hospital tank and trying treatment for parasites I had to euthanise him. Now the remaining 2 zebra loaches ...

Will loaches swim up a UV sterilizer outlet?
I know most of my other fish have the good sense not to swim up the outlet, but do I need to make some sort of grate to keep Botia Kubotai out, or are they smart enough to avoid swimming up a pipe that goes above water level?

Best sand stirring loach?
Setting up a new 75g planted tank for my Botia Kubotai with a sand substrate and I'm wondering what would be a good choice of fish to help me keep the sand stirred and gas free. I was considering kuhlis, horsefaced, dojo, and zippers for the task. I'm concerned my Synodontis Eupterus will push aroun...

Tankmates for Kubs
I'm planning to move my Botia Kubotai's to a much larger tank and would like some suggestions as to what kind of fish work well with them. I was thinking maybe a group of 5 Striatas to round out the bottom of the tank but what sort of fish work well with Kubs for the middle/upper levels of the tank?...

YoYos destroying plants
I got some yoyos today and theyre great to watch but they systematically chewed tiny loach mouthed size holes in the single youngest leaf of every live sword plant in the tank (melon, amazonx2, rose, radican). It looks like someone used a tiny hole punch 20-30 times on each sword plant. Can I expect...
