I wouldn't worry about the grey/pale colour, but what about the black spot on "his" back? Has that always been there ?

Tubercles .... forehead...clowns

I remember an old tread showing some pics about those tubercles on the forehead of clowns. What was the conclusion (if any), is it a sign of age....of sex...or breeding season...or ?? Good pictures.
I use a XL bambootube for my clowns and it is their favorite hidingplace (my Panaque love it as well so it disappears over time 8) )

Well thanks for all your nice comments :D Ded1: Only the first pic. is from 2005, the other 2 is only about 1 month old. It's the same fat/big/most hungry/dominating fish in front of the pic. from 2005 as with the little newcommmer. The tank is 530 l with 7 clowns 4 big Synodontis eupterus and diff....

Thanks Martin, for helping with the pic's :)

The biggest clown is around 19 cm TL (but difficult to measure!) so there is still some cm's to go :D , and the small is 4-5 cm i guess, the size we buy them i the stores.
