Sorry about long time no reply school kicks me in the rear occasionally. The sand is Estes sand I believe its just mixed sand of white and black. I think I mixed it 50/50 however if I had to do it again I would probably do more black with a little white... like a crushed oreo and less like salt and ...

Ok all but the 2 that I call the Twins they are lots smaller. As far as pictures go thats somewhat luck but also I have the Sony Alpha 100 ...

How big is the fish? Was curious cause at around 3 inches or so my Lecontei or what I think is that, still had light black stripes? Now there aren't visible stripes really. Mine was a contaminant in Helodes. Its very defensive of territory but other wise fine.

Haha Pool, I wish. It was a little bit like murder, but I am semi smart when moving as I have done it many times. This was the first time with fish tanks though. Its a college town and we moved here cause I needed to attend the university. So anyway the 1st is when all apartment leases start and the...

Moved UGH

Well on the 1st and 2nd of August we moved to a new apartment in a city about an hour away. It went relatively well other than we had some casualties. All casualties were my fault as it was more than likely an acclimation problem. It sucks to lose all my Rostrata, The one Kub and my flying fox. But ...

I agree with Shari that, It looks like a healthy dark clown. I also have one darker clown. He/she has been that way since I adopted him/her. Here is a picture of him/her for you. http://farm1.static.flickr.com/244/452622082_a67366f679.jpg Hey, I just looked at the post to compare pictures and they a...

They do suck them out of the shells somehow and then carry around the shells for awhile after ward. I g...

Yea ckk Thats "Baby", he/she was the smallest when I only had 3. I tell them apart by the thickness of their bars/stripes. "Baby" has the thickest, Then "Biggie", and "Medyum" has the smallest. Here is a bad photo of medyum but you can see the bar difference. http://farm1.static.flickr.com/227/51465...

Thanks for the comments everyone I also thought the first one was the best. And he/she is so pretty very vivid colors as compared to the other two. The other two are like the one in the second picture that lighter coloring. I wanted a full body shot of the first one as I really like how its tail is ...
