it's been over a week so far though, shouldn't it all be gone by now? I've read that 3 days at 88 was supposed to make the cysts pop.

yep i'm positive it's ich, they all looked like big yellow powered donuts before. The big loach still has it but like I mentioned he's so pale you can't really see the ich in the picture. P.S. I've actually read on loach pages that salt and high temps was the best way to go. The salt prevents the ic...

Very bad ich, what else can I try???

I recently bought an albino rainbow shark from pet smart that brought a nasty strain of ich home with it. I have 3 loaches who all got it, my smallest two (4") have gotten better however my largest loach (6.5") and previously my healthiest has it the worst and I can't seem to irraticate it. It can't...

I'm happy to say that my Beaufortia kweichowensis has made a full recovery:) (still being watched closely however) I'm glad he's now healthy. http://ldyice.fantasyendeavors.net/D/butterflyloach1.jpg I think I may be missing a Sinogastromyzon wui since I haven't seen him around. The one I can find lo...

Hmm my hillstream seems completely healthy. No rapid breathing and he's eating. I thought the color was natural since he seems healthy all the way around. I'll definately keep my eye on him. The Sinogastromyzon wui's look great but they haven't eaten yet, i'm keeping my fingers crossed.

Ever seen anything like it?

I picked up two Sinogastromyzon wui hillsteam loaches the other day that were mixed in with Beaufortia kweichowensis hillstreams. http://www.loaches.com/species-index/sinogastromyzon-wui I noticed one of the reg hillstreams looked way different from the others. He looks almost half albino colored (o...

Thank you, that looks like them :) Anyone know anything about them behavior wise? I'm looking around the web, but not finding much. Did find that they are typically non-agressive, which is always good.

Yo-Yo's Fighting :(

I've had my two Yo-Yo loaches for about 4 months now, no problems until last night. They've been fighting off and on since, they are both pale and you can't even see the yo-yo stripes. They keep on fighting even when I tap the glass, when they normally run. Is this just a dominance fight, will it en...

Does anyone know what kind of Loach this is? I bought two today under the name of Golden Zebra Loach. After looking them up they look very different. I hope someone here knows.

Sorry about the fuzzy pic, my cameras not the best. Below is what lives in my 55. I just read that Sucker Bellys don't grow once taken from captivity. So the 55 would probably be inapproiate because of either the leporinus or Leopard Bush fish, the bush fish would definately eat them once they get l...

Any advice is appreciated! :) First Post: I found them @ my LFS this weekend and picked up two of the biggest ones. These guys are healthy and extremely active (for suckerbellys..lol), a...
