Hi. the birchir are about 4" long, not even the thickness of my little finger. They are with Malawi and Frontosa cichlids all of which are way much larger then them. Hi Tanja, Will mine be OK with Cichlids? I have another tropical tank but it contains Harlequins and guppies amongst others! prob a bad idea!! Nope! The feathered fins on the back are similar. The "loach / eel" has its feathered fins more vivid. As it gets bigger it goes brown in colour. It has a "nasty" face.
