An aquaristic friend flyes often to south asia and told me, fishes (f.i. red parrots - also a bad story!) get tatoos there.
Other dyed fishes are: Corydoras or Ambassidae.

Hello, I got also a assassin snail. I forgot to write. During a short time my tank (~40l) was "clean". The Tetradontidae need snails or shrimps for their tooth, like i wrote. They grow the whole life. The other thing is, Tetradontidae are sometimes "bad guys": they bit out parts of the fins from the...

You feed to much feed. Please don't buy Tetradontidae or loaches for your fight against the snails. Remember, what do you feed esp. the Tetradontidae, if all snails gone?! This fishes needs snails for their "tooth". Lay a part of cucumber in your tank after the light is out. You could affix it with ...

Hi Graeme, "war-paintin'"... I know. It's the coloring of indians or other , which are on the warpath. ;) I was very amazed, as I saw his colorchanging during nearly a half minute. In my eyes, the video is a little bit to short. But the battles are not really big/long and I could watch it only on tw...

Hm, I believe, they get it, when they are pregnant, not when they can become pregnant. BTW.

If female http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Poeciliidae are pregnant, they get a dark/black point in the near of/around the anus, the so called "pregnancy dot/mark/patch".

Did she has this dot?

"Tank"- Battle

Hello, look this battle in the tank between a Sewellia lineolata and (in my opinion) a Gastromycon punctulatus. Please not the totally different color of the Gastromycon! The normally color is dark grey. They fight on a wood, which the Gastromycon means, it is his own place but the Sewellia want to ...

Hi,

it could be, that is going o.k., like nighthawk said, but also could it be, that the cichlid is "stronger" than your clowns. I wouldn't risk it. In my point of view, a meltingpott-tank isn't my way. But it's my little opinion!

Hello, unfortunally the fishes don't know, what some guy write about them. If the cichlids get fry, they could be a total different fish. The clowns are also "groundfishes", isn't it? The 2nd thing is, the cichlid is from central america. Clownloaches are from southeast asia. It's not the best combi...
