oh yeah, about the pleco, i really don't know what it is..they told me that it's a butterfly pleco but i doubt it. If anyone here can ID it for me, that'll be great. :)

Thanks shari! i already have a tank pic in my computer at home. just have to upload it to photobucket. will try to post it here later tonight. :) anyway, just wanna say that this site's really great! found out tons of info about these very adorable fish that i wouldn't have if i hadn't stumbled upon...

helen and starsplitter: thank you for all the info really appreciate it. :) anyway, I did a water change about two days ago and water parameters are as follows: ammonia 0 nitrite 0 nitrate 40 i think the bio filters i added really helped alot. :) btw, the CLs and modestas will be moving soon to a 75...

i really don't know..the shop where i got them from told me they are botia darios but i just assumed they were yoyo's but after looking at the botia histronica pics, yeah i agree, they're golden zebras. my mistake. :)

my tanks filtration consists of an overhead filter box connected to a powerhead with a sponge quickfilter. and i also have an oxygen plus bio-filter with two sponges and a flexible tube type airstone that gives off fine bubbles.

Water test results:

pH - 7.2
ammonia - 0.25
nitrate - 40
nitrite - 0.25

test was done 3 days after all fish were put in the tank.

appreciate all of your comments.. anyway the main reason why its over populated is because loaches are kinda hard to find here where i live so when i got the chance to get them, i did. as iv said, this is just a temporary home for these fishes til i get them their own river tank(max 1 month). i'm go...

i know its overstocked right now..its just a temp home till i find the time to build them a 75gal or a 90gal river tank. yes the waters been cycled. will test the water parameters later today and will update you guys. btw, the blue botias are all there. phew! :) apparently, they're just really good ...

i doubt that the BKG ate them since my neon dwarf rainbow fish are only about an inch long but none of them have disappeared. if ever the BKG decided to go on hunting mode, i suspect they would be first ones to go right?
