Thanks for your comments, this eSha Exit seems to be working quite well. Not seeing any further spots on the small guys, with most dwindling in numbers and still nothing visible on the big guys.

Early days but hopefully this is already the beginning of the end of my nightmare.

Possible Ich Outbreak

Well it looks like I may have the dreaded ich in my tank. Despite quarantining my new clowns for 8 weeks with a double dose of worming and white spot treatments a month or so into their new surroundings some of them seem to have developed ich. One has maybe 15 spots, another half a dozen and a third...

Thank you all so much for your advice. I did think the continual adding of Ammovec and Nitrivec seemed a little strange, and not cheap at £40+ for two bottles of the stuff, it lasts about 2 months, so a fairly expensive outlay for little/no benefit. I will keep adding the Florena as my plants are do...

Water Conditioners

My LFS recommended that I use the Sera range of conditioners, so I'm adding Morena and Florena fortnightly, and Nitrivec and Ammovec weekly to maintain good water conditions for my fish, and I've been doing this religiously for a year. Now, finan...

New clowns

Hi, A quick question. 10 days ago I got a couple of larger clowns (5-6") to go with my current family of 9 clowns (3-4"), bit of an impulse buy as I hadn't seen clowns this size for sale. I have a pipe construction and basically the new clowns are just in there all the time, I'm lucky if I get to se...

Thank you all for your input, I can now start looking at costing it up and wondering how on earth I can afford it!

New Tank Questions

Hi fellow Loachaholics, I’ve been looking at this site for a few months now, and (unfortunately for my wallet) it’s inspired me to do a bit more for my clown loaches by giving them a 6ft tank. I’ve got 8 clowns in a 4ft tank (240L) currently, I’ve only had them 3 months, so they’re no bigger than ab...
