Once again Beta thanks for the 8) pics ! I feel I may have actually kept a small group of M.herrei ? they came in with M.triangularis and were much more docile than Guentheri or Triangularis ! would that be the case ? Also does M.pulchellus look similar to Meso's Guentheri and Herrei ? Yours Andy :...

Donna, Mad Duff and Irab - Thanks for the encouragement. Piggy4 - The Meso's can be a little boisterous but not to Schistura denisoni levels. Here are couple of other Meso's for you Mesonoemacheilus guentheri http://i797.photobucket.com/albums/yy251/beta_bucket/Mesonemacheilus-guentheri.jpg Mesonoem...

Loach ID?

Collected from a small stream in Kallidaikurichi, a village on the banks of the river Tamaraparani in Southern India. Difficult to photograph as it dives into the sand once the lights are on. I suspect this is a juvenile as it is only around 2 inches long. http://i797.photobucket.com/albums/yy251/be...

Schistura denisoni?

Need help to ID this loach. This was collected from Nagalapuram, Chitoor district, Andhra Pradesh, India. I think the caudal fin is unusually long for this loach. http://i797.photobucket.com/albums/yy251/beta_bucket/schisturax1.jpg http://i797.photobucket.com/albums/yy251/beta_bucket/schisturax2.jpg...
