Is Parasite Clear safe to use in a tank with hillstreams?

Is it safe for hillstream loaches?
It has praziquantel, diflubenzuron, metronidazole, acriflavine and says its is harmful to crustaceans

I will definitely get some maracyn2 and start treating. How will I know how many days I need to do it? 5? 10? And would I use the whole dose?None have any symptoms yet and I hope to keep it that way.

I have gotten rid of that particular hillstream. Now in order to keep my original one healthy and symptom free, do you suggest I treat the tank with maracyn (which I have) or should I go out and get maracyn 2 and use it (or both?)?

oh no! Could it be that that is the problem? The color on the head is a little patchy, I thought it was just a different species. I put it in my tank already! If I take it out now, what can I do to keep the others healthy, maracyn the tank?

Thank you all for your advice and opinions. They are very much appreciated. You have given me a lot of info re tanks etc. What I really want to know is "Do you think I bought a defective loach or not?"

I guess then that they are 2 different species of beauforia. Since those readings there have been a couple water changes a 20% and a 40-45%. The nitrites were at between 0.1 and 0.2 before the water changes and the ammonia between 0.25 and 0.5 before the water changes (both of which is very little c...

I did a partial water change and the ammonia and nitrites are at 0. I have used cycle nitrifier to assist in cycling the tank. I have noticed no unusual behavior in either of them, except the new one has a little less suction. Although I have noticed he seems to be able to stay in one spot sometimes...

My tank had been having 0 levels of ammonia and nitrite until these meds I guess. The first one has been doing great, the second one seems fine except he has a little less suction. This couldn't have caused the problem in the new one as he had it when I first put him in the tank. Those readings were...

I think that my original hillstream is a Beafortias, although one of the gastros looks very similar. My new one is shaped like a beaufortias, but its markings are a little different and it is lighter. I will try to get a picture.
So should I do a major water change now?

Yes, I have read the articles, thank you. I have 29 gal tank, with 4 - 1 to 1 1/2 inch long fantails and the 2 loaches. I am not using a heater. I have an airstone aerator and aquatech power filter. About 1 month old, using cycle nutrifiers. Last week I used fungal meds as a precaution although my f...

Butterfly/hillstream loach keeps sliding down the glass

I just bought a second hillstream loach to keep my other one company. It took to the aquarium glass right away and started sucking, but I notice it seems to slowly slide down the glass whether it is facing up or sideways as if it just doesn't quite stick as much as it should. Is this normal for some...
