what kind of loach is the nicest towards plants?

I was planning on yo yo loaches for my planted tank, but have read in several different places that they tear the heck out of plants and uproot them. I know most loaches do this, but is there one kind of loach that isn't as bad?

Thanks for the tips! I'd really like to use sand for substrate and have real plants.... What are easy plants for beginners that are compatible with the fish I'd like to start with? I remember I put hornwort in with my newts a few years ago and the water turned green!
