I always love looking at your pond pictures. And your sturgeon are great. Fantastic looking fish.Our Aquarium club had an amazing presentation from a Koi Farmer, and then they had had a Koi Growout contest. It was amazing. Wisps of fish that grew to 2-4 inches in 4 months. Wowsers!

I got a piece of filter media and put it across the outflow of the filter so he had to stay in the tank. Once he gave up trying to get in the filter, he was fine and resigned himself to living in the tank.

The higher temps helps alot and either salt or meds will finish it off. But stay the course for a couple weeks after all signs of infection are gone. This insures that there isn't a resurgence of the problem.
