How many khuli's in a 10 gallon?
Hello everyone! I ususally keep cichlids , but got a taste of loach madness a few months back...(I posted here about some wal-mart recused loaches) So, having recently finished moving all my cihlids to their new 80 gallon home, I was wondering what I could do with a spare 10 gallon I have, and immed...

 Well, it doesn't matter anymore. I was able to purchase two of the loaches from Wal-mart, and last night they both JUMPED out of the 1 gallon tank. I need to know if I would be rescuing these loaches...
One of my local Wal-Marts (ugh!) recently got a shipment of what I'm pretty sure are 4 Kuhli loaches (could be one of the "fake" khuli's though). They're being sold as "assorted tropical" and I'm certain they're going to die unless someone who knows what they're doing picks them up (they're very sma...

Hmmm, sounds like Dropsy.
I'm not familiar with loach-specific diseases, but it sounds like this fish is suffering from dropsy, which in itself is only a symptom, sometimes of an internal bacterial infection. I've heard good things about using Methelyn Blue as a dip/bath, but I'd start doing some heavy googling on the subjec...
