Tinman- I remember the 1st time you posted here. I thought right away that were kinda nuts about your fish, and you've confirmed it everyday since. You definately found the right place to share your insanity. Thankyou, I don't feel nearly as crazy now since you joined. Actually here at LOL, we're quite normal compared to the mods- Graeme, Martin, Emma, Jim, Mark, Mark, and Shari. They are the real crazy ones that make this site work.

This virus is speading too. Tristan and Keith W. have been rewarding us with there new tank projects.

I am still learing everyday . Together we all know our stuff, alone we struggle . I am better for this forum. I love the positve attitude almost everybody brings. It makes us all better and the fishes health is my goal above all else. Thank you for the compliment but we are all smarter and cooler on line than in person right....

My helodes are clicking away as I type...they really make noise at times. All have settled well but one that left me already. It was a bit skinny so I am not overly concerned but I will be treating them with praziquantel I think if they all don't get fat bellys, many are already pooching up in the belly area already. :D

:D :D I have all my helodes now. I have 48 in my 4 foot tank. All have settled well. Some of the new ones are skinny but we are addressing that already. Praziquantel first this time twice me thinks which I have dosed already tonight. Then I will use the levimosal treatment. Is there any opinion on how long to wait to start the levimosal. The praziquantel asks for two treatments in 48 hours with a 25% water change between. I would think a prazi this day one ,another prazi on day three in 48 hours then a levimosal after 48 more hours with a huge or several small water changes before I start. I am wondering if I should wait twice that long at least before the levimosal maybe or just watch first for a while before to decide if it is neccesary....Any thoughts?

I can not find the post Emma made with the parisite treatment with the discus? pic on the package. Can anyone post the link to that thread fer me. Thanks guys.... 8) Me so happy :D more fish....hehe

Hi Tinman , would it not be worth just feeding them for a week , perhaps the weight may have been lost in transit ? at least you might avoid having to use any addatives ! try chopped earth worms , superb for building up body mass !
