Columnaris is what I'd call it. Right or wrong I don't know. Once it gets embedded in the mouth like that, it's nearly impossible to treat. If you did treat it successfully, the fish would be disfigured and only have half of a mouth left.

Thanks Chefkeith. It had started to 'spot' over the gill plates and near the pectoral fins on one side.

Pity though, really nice fish :(
