This took far too long but for all of you who love hillies here they are
Finally got my hnds on a decent camera to lend for pics.
I am still figuring out the best settings, so expect some better pics soon.
first 2 pics of "blacky" still shy but turned out not as shy as the pale Beau's
This one is the darkest in colour among my Beau's

then a series of 1 of the "Coneheads"
This guy declared himself ruler of hillies the moment he set fin in the tank
notice the lighter cone shape and the darker very fine darker coloured sides

1 of the first group

1 of the Cheni's finally sat still for a sec

more pics (i hope in better quality) soon, must get pic of the "Palies"

Finally some decent pics (comparitive pics at that) of the pale Beaufortia
Since i redecorated the tank all Hillies seem way more out in the open
i redid the current corridor and turned it into a current field, added more rounded cobbles and shifted a big piece of wood to the back of the tank
Well here is for the comparison between the different Beaufortia's
Palie & Blacky.
The biggest apparent difference is obviously the colour
Other stand out differences are: almost no colouration on the side of the Palie
and a sort of wish wash on the sides of Blacky (also visible on the pics of the sides of one of the Coneheads)

(Nevermind the Cheni
)

lastly a picture taken with flash on, notice the spots standing much further apart atop the fish and the spots fade neer the underside of the tail
Also Palie is compared to the others alot smaller in build.
Even Blacky who is app 4-5 mm shorter is app 2-3 mm wider
(yes i spot these differences with the naked eye)
