New loach genus

Post by Mike Ophir » Tue Jul 04, 2006 2:02 am

Hi all,

Just wanted to let you know that according to PFK, a UK fish magazine, a new loach genus endemic to the middle east, specifically Iraq/Iran has been described by Nalbant, and will be discussed in further detail in an upcoming paper on Nemacheillenes.

Summer has been busy and will try to check to forum more often.

Hope everyone is doing well.

Mike

Are you referring to the article "A new genus and a new species of a remarkable nemacheilid fish from iran (pisces: ostariophysi: nemacheilidae)" by Brian W. Coad and Teodor T. Nalbant?

I also have the pdf for this if anyone is interested.

I've sent a few copies out but my Windows hit some problems last night and I had to reinstall it. And I lost the pdf as well.

Those who have messaged me for the pdf, please hold while I try to get hold of another copy.

Thanks again to both of you for re-sending them back to me again :)
