should clowns have vegetables?

once a day? a week? a month?

I don't know if there's a formula for this, but my clowns (and other Botiids) got cucumber every evening. What was left was lifted out each morning. As long as they have other foods - bloodworms, good flake, etc - they should do very well.

Ditto Mark: There really isn't a formula.
I rotate all the foods so that some days the meals are higher in protein or fats, other days they are higher in vegetables. Some days I do not feed at all, and let the fish pick at whatever they find in the tanks.
I also rotate the types of food: Flakes, pellets, wafers, frozen, freeze dried, live...

My thoughts: If a fish does not like a particular type of food they can skip that meal and may eat more at the next meal.
38 tanks, 2 ponds over 4000 liters of water to keep clean and fresh.
