fasting day

my 3 loaches are about 1 inch (2.5 cm) in size, I know they require more feeding times I feed mine about 6 times a day in 3 hour intervals. my question is are they to young for a day of no food?

Too young.

If they are in a really well planted tank and there are baby pond snails then you might be OK to start stretching out the meals, but do not fast them.
38 tanks, 2 ponds over 4000 liters of water to keep clean and fresh.
