Hi Gary,

I have bred both species, and spawnings have usually occurred when the water temperature was between 25-26 deg C (77-79 deg F).

Hope this helps,

Emma

I have had Sewellia lineolata breed and the temp is usually a little lower at about 75F (24C).

Thanks for the replies! I thought they were cooler and I have both at 70F so I think I will raise it to around 75-76F.

As a general rule, the Sewellias and the Gastromyzons come from waters that are a bit warmer than the Chinese hillstreams.
