I was just wondering if the color of the substrate (Black) affects the behavior of a Clown Loach in a way?

I have different substrate colors in different tanks, and my fish try to blend in. I have horse heads on sand, and they are all very light. My Clowns are on black gravel, and it hasn't changed them that I can tell.

You'd be better off using black sand if you can find it, it will be kinder on the delicate barbels. Over here, it's available as black silica sand.
