Hi,
I was recently given a Juwel Lido 120l tank (30gallons). Is this big enough to keep my 2 clown Loaches in? (both about 5 inches). It is roughly cube shaped: W61 x D41 x H58cm (24 x 16 x 22 inches). Or would they be better in a tank with larger surface area? They were in a regular 60 litre (15g) tank before now - which I think is way to small!!
Also how often should I be feeding these guys? I realise these are not new questions, but I sure would appreciate a reply. I have really grown to like these fish and Im a bit worried....
Juwel Lido 120 - wrong shape/size aquarium?

Hi Kimi, welcome to Loaches
Better to move the Loaches up into a larger tank, but even that one is too small.
I would think of a tank at the bare minimum of 4' long, (1.3m) but even this is small.
At 5" these guys are no longer babies, and do not need frequent feeding. I feed my larger ones twice a day. Babies are fed more often. Feed a good mix of foods, both plant and animal based.

38 tanks, 2 ponds over 4000 liters of water to keep clean and fresh.
Happy fish keeping!
