hillstream & co setup

Hallo,

I've decided to redecorate my 100cm x 30 x30 to a hillstream tank.
The species most commonly available at the shop are :

Beaufortia kweichowensis
Gastromyzon ctenocephalus
Schistura sp. "Crimson"
Sewellia lineolata
Aborichthys elongatus

I already posses 2 sinibotia pulschra that I want to keep for this setup ,seeiing that they can fit in this setup.

There are more hillstreams from time to time at the shop because it has lots of loaches at all times.

I do excuse myself for the poor English writing, but's due to the long inactivity on english forums.

I'm very interested at what species you "experts" you think could be best in this fishtank.

With the Sinibotia I would personally go with the bigger hillstream species like Beaufortia kweichowensis and Sewellia lineolata or any other Sewellia sp.

There have been a couple of reports of people losing Gastromyzon's in tanks with Sewellia sp.

So you could not recommend shistura sp. like I mentioned in combination with the sewellia ,...
Could it be possible to keep 1 common Ancistrus with these hillstreams or would it be too competitive for food and to agressive ?
I understand it would not be a natural ideal tankmate but it thrives well with high watercirculation and a ph of 7-8 like the hillstreams.

To be honest the only thing I have kept with Sewellia without any problems have been other Sewellia, I did keep some Sewellia spotted with my sidthimunki and Mesonoemacheilus guentheri but I had to remove the Sewellia from the 75 gallon tank within a couple of days as the sewellia were attacking them.

I would think the schistura sp that you mentioned could probably hold their own with the Sewellia but I wouldn't like to say for definite as I haven't done it myself but it would certainly be worth a try.

I would go along with what Mad Duff said.
Although, I have my largest Sewellia in with some Gastromyzons and they do fine. The Sewellia will run them off food though, but they Gastros still get enough to eat. I wouldn't put small Gastros in with large Sewellia though.

So would these species and numbers fit in my fishtank then :

1x Beaufortia kweichowensis
2x Sewellia lineolata
2x Schistura sp. "Crimson"
1x sinibotia pulschra
1x Sinibotia superciliaris

?
I just found out that the 2 sinibotias I poses are 2 different sinibotia, so that explains the change.

Any thoughts of what kind of danio, ... that would fit well in this kind of setup ??
