Neck "bubble" @ tiny clowns
Folks,
Remind me the outcomes of the discussion on the little visible "bubble" often seen behind the head/gills/heart of small juvenile clowns.
There was a thread last year. Prognosis wasn't good, if i remember correctly.

I believe I missed this subject when it was initially active.
Were these "bubbles" bilateral or only on one side? Reason I ask is they are located (based on the photo) exactly where the oval shaped lymph-filled chambers are that connect to the fish's Camera Area Weberiana........ part of the fish's hearing mechanism.
Martin.

Sorry to re-start this thread, but I did promise an update:
Well, the three-month trial-by-fire has run it's course for our little bubble-hearted clown. Not much growth, but still high vigor, good appetite, good activity, dithering and scrapping with the serpaes etc... I could cautiously say the bubble is less prevalent, but that's probably not as true as I'd like it to be. Either way, is time to start building a school.
Good thing there's a little work around... building schools of modesta and clowns at >$25US a-pop is going to do me in :)
