my website is gone

Post by chefkeith » Fri Oct 30, 2009 3:37 pm

That's because GeoCities shutdown and my internet service provider (Yahoo/AT&T) is no longer hosting free websites for it's members.

Anyone know of a free web host that I can use?

How many pages do you have? Total KBs of storage? Did you ever measure your bandwidth?

Reason I am asking is that I might be able to fit you on my server. free

Think about it and let me know.

Thanks.

I think I'm going a different route now. I'll probably just rewrite the javascript apps in Visual Basic and upload them to file server and make them downloadable for anyone to use.

how fast do you need it Keith?

I am currently "visioning" some project, that would alow free and high quality homepages (to setup like ms-word, very comfortable) on a high quality server, with blog option. Please let me know your timing, I will call the technical responsable.

I'll probably just use google blogspot because I'm familiar with it and use it for my bowling team's website. I'm not sure when I'll have the programming done for these apps, but so far the GUI is point and click (using menus, trackbars, buttons, ect.) It could be a few weeks or months before I need to upload the software.
