Rakhine loach.

Post by mickthefish » Wed Jan 13, 2010 5:56 pm

a while back i bought 6 of these loaches from pier aquatics, my mates shop.
Kamphol sent them over unfortunately 5 of them perished within a week leaving me with just one.
if i remember right emma also got these in round the same time.
it has turned out to be a brilliant loach to keep, it spends most of the time buried with just it's eyesand snout visible but reappears like magic, it is totally harmless eating mainly frozenfoods but will nibble at pellets that are put in the tank.
could anyone tell me if it's been named yet?.
here's a few shots of it hidden and above the sand.
