My Loach Disapering act!

Post by Gazp2k » Wed Aug 23, 2006 4:33 pm

I was cleaning my tank out the other day at aound 6pm and went to get some clean water, I am 90% sure that both loaches where in there when I got back as I fed them and watched both of them eating them.
I stayed out that night, and returned home aound 10am, to my supprise - only ONE loach in my tank  .
I looked behind my filter, under the sand - and I couldnt find it.
I had to be in work for 11 so made my mum carry on looking.
At 12pm i got a message on my phone, "Found you fish, ring me" . it had jumped out my tank and was down the back of the cabinet :( .

and hes still ALIVE, and eating well, to be honest he seems more friendly now - they actully fed from my hands for the first time last night

Is he/she a dojo loach? Or something else? I have heard some remarkable stories about dojos surviving for long periods out of the tank! Glad you got him back in the tank 8)
