The rotating coconut

Post by NDininno » Fri Aug 20, 2010 7:46 am

OK so I put this cleaned out coconut in my loach tank about 2 years ago and its starting to deteriorate around the openings. The front opening is now double the size I originally created it to be. Around the same time I noticed the hole was larger, I also noticed the coconut slowly rotating its opening toward the closest wall. I thought maybe it was the filter, but it turns out the new larger opening was not to the liking of my largest clown. It goes inside, and swims up on an angle lifting the coconut out of the sand and rotates it without moving it side to side at all. I wish I was able to get a vid of this because it was pretty cool, but I only saw him do it that one time.
