New owner of a Kuhli Loach w/ a qustion

Post by jandtsmom » Sat Sep 18, 2010 12:34 pm

I had brought home 2 Kuhli Loaches, 1 just died due to an Ick outbreak. Everyone seems to be fine now, but here is my question.
I lost several of my Neons due to Ick and had just 1 left, so I brought home 4. They were very tiny, this morning all that is left are the 2 largest Neons. The others have disappeared. Now I have been doing some research online and the only one in the tank I can think they may have had them for a midnight snack, would be the Kuhli Loach. I also have 2 African Dwarf Frogs but everything I have read and heard about them, would eliminate them as the culprits. So just looking to confirm if indeed it could be the Kuhli that ate my Neons.

I highly doubt the kuhlis ate the neons i'd be more inclined to point the finger at the frogs.

I agree. Kuhlies have no aggression. I can't imagine Kuhlies eating the fish or having the ambition to do so. I agree frogs certainly eat small fish. I have 2 African dwarf frogs and I know they eat my guppy fry and shrimplets. I have never seen them eat anything, but they are pretty chubby.
