I think the loach forum is a good place to start, I know some people have seen or kept them from years ago, can anyone please supply pictures from the imports 1990s or prior of this specie!

Hi Fugupuff , there was a bit of a boom time for Chinese fishes , but that's a long time ago 20yrs ? there are Pulchers and Robusta's available on occasions but not a lot else ?

Hey Jim,

Thanks for the link, those fish did come from me. I noticed that through the thread you've mentioned a few times how they can easily be confused with L. pelligrini, and I still but wonder if the ones from 15 years ago were infact Pelligrini and not elongata.
