One 75 has Eco-complete and the other 75 has Tahitian Moon black sand. I do use fertilizers once a week.

One of the 75s have been set up and running since May 2008. The other only about a year.

The fertilizers would explain the higher TDS. They usually add 100+ PPM to the TDS in my planted tanks.
