A Dialogue Among Dojos ...

[Dojosmama]

First and fattest (male) dojo: "Tee-hee-hee! Have we got that human wrapped around our little fins!"

Second (male) dojo: "Yeah -- all we need do is look at her with our little beady black eyes and we get fed our favorite treats. Life should be so easy for our wild cousins!"

Third (female) dojo: "Yeah, and she's always staring in at us. That ugly mug of hers. But, we don't care. We have nice clean water to swim around in and a nice cave to hide in, and lots of soft plant bedding above us -- how did we get soooo lucky???"

First dojo: "Yeah, sure beats that glass box we were in at that store! They fed us, but we sure didn't get the luxury meals or accomodations we now have!"

Second dojo: "Silly! They just had us in there until somebody bought us and took us home."

Third dojo: "We still lucked out. There was no guarantee our lives would be this nice!"

First dojo: "Yeah. I've heard reports from our former fellow store mates about these evil people adopting them then dropping them into ammonia baths! EEEEWWWWW !!! Makes us wish we were equipped with sharp teeth with which to bite meanies!"

Third dojo: "Yeah. I've heard the same reports. Our poor helpless friends! Well -- nothing we can do for them, is there?"

Second dojo: "That's why we have to be extra good and extra cute so WE continue to get such good treatment from our person."

First dojo: "You know, I think she would treat us good regardless. Even if we acted up and ate all her baby red shrimp, she would still continue to spoil us."

Third dojo: "Silly! We already have devoured most of them. And I think she knows it. Probably considers them more nutritious food for us."

Second dojo: "Yeah, but we didn't get all of them. Three of those red cherries are really big, now. Well, we're not interested in those. Not when we get other nice tidbits."

First dojo: "Tee-hee-hee! Those big shrimp will reproduce and then guess what?"

Second dojo: "Between-meal-snacks, that's what!"

Third dojo: "Here she comes! Let's rest on the gravel looking cute some more."

First dojo: "We don't even have to TRY ... LOL!"

And so concludes this dialogue among dojos ...
