Loachally challenged rostrata?

Post by angelfish83 » Wed Oct 18, 2006 1:03 am

Four of the five are doing phenomenally. They're not shy at all, will come to the sound of light tapping, eating phenomenally.

Except this one guy hasn't eaten anything yet, he just swims around sucking on leaves and wood and the filter sponges but he never goes for the actual fish food... He's constantly on the move too... I wonder if he's ok...

Could be that he just hasn't got the hang of eating what the others are eating, it sounds like it is foraging for food and is probably picking up bits of stuff from the leaves, wood and filter sponges, it is probably eating more than you think :) .

Half of my Sidthimunki's love bloodworm pellet the other half wont even go near them, don't know why, all ten were bought at the same time from the same shop but some just don't like them :? .

Well they were levamisoled heavily at the store and looked quite stringy and horrible when they came in... could it be a health issue? Or is he just of a strange personality?

Thanks :)

He's looking markedly skinny compared to the others... Ive been fattening em for five days now

He still wont eat food... just cruises around without stopping... ever... nibbling leaves and such... I find it odd he never rests... He has a slight bulge in his tummy though so he's eaten something...

The other four have actually grown a wee bit though and are very fat...
