When I was into snakes, I went to Windsor and back for some... that's a round trip of almost 1000 Kilometers...

A local breeder of what? Very few loaches breed well in captivity...

Menagerie usually has a decent selection of loaches. Right now he has Clown, Rostrata, Histrionica, Kubotai, and Dario, and possibly horseface but I think they sold out

Yo yo's are available in decent shape @ Finatics on Kennedy...

Clowns are costly and fragile. You should buy a clown more for its condition than the price. Its not worth a five dollar loach that will be a problem, always make sure they're healthy[/quote]

you are absolutely right about buying a loach (or any other fish) based on its health .I was going to buy all sorts of thing from him like plants ,a co2 regulator ,etc.but I just couldn't convince myself that I would get a good deal.
I have not bought anything from the Menagerie yet but have heard a lot about them ,maybe I will go check out their loaches.
Thanks for the info.
