Rosy Update
I don't notice them getting any longer but they are beginning to fill out nicely with nice round little tummies. They are constantly moving around and seem to enjoy pecking at the plant leaves. No damage is evident but they do spend most of their time around the plants.
I did notice the first fight between two males - the darker coloration as they are not showing any red at this point. They assumed the head to tail position and round and round they went nipping at each other. One finally broke off and the other followed for a short distance. They seem to spend most of the time off by themselves. When they see another individual they seem to want to join them but after a few seconds they seem to have a disagreement and split.
They are eating good.

Anything that hits the water and they can get in their mouth which is tiny. I feed daphnia, BS, and crushed up flakes - various types. I also use tablet food for the clowns and BN. I've seen them go after the betta food but it's too big for them but they can nibble on the tablets.
I think they get a lot of food from the roots of the plants as well as the leaves as they appear to be nibbling constantly on them.
