Aha. Then it is likely the same algae indeed. I infected a 10g (with stronger incandescent light and no glass lid) with this stuff to see if it grows.

Incidentally, Gastros seem to like this stuff (from the old Gastronomy thread:

May be fun to release a few Gastros into your tank and see what they do.

Just added 20 Zacco platypus to my tank. They really add some action, especially when they're swimming in the water flow.

The drawback is that this fish get about 8" TL (about 20 cm), and I'll need to thin them out as they grow.
