I would like to know how they call it a Borneo Sucker and then say it's from China? Basic lack of knowledge of what you're selling I call that.

The seller has lots of positive feedbacks, but...... it's a big  from me!

Martin.

The name "Borneo Sucker" seems to be used generically for sucker loaches , I've seen it applied to Beaufortia's before....would not be surprised to see someone selling "Tiger Borneo Sucker" one day.

Yes Mike. The name has been in use for at least 10 years.

I have seen at least 3 different species of hillstream loach in local shops and all have been reffered to as "Borneo Sucker" or "Hong Kong Plec", I think a lot of the time it is just easier to use one general name than find out species specific names :(
