three colours is pretty ok with screen-printing, but if you want LOTS then the transfers is the way to go, you can get anything that will come out of a printer on to them. Much, much less time-consuming and cheaper. they just don't last as well, sadly, but for something that you would use occasionally rather than every day it's fine.
