Anyways here is what I did...
I drained the tank below the leak
Then I got all of the fish into a bucket
I drained my 29 gal QT tank except for maybe 3-4 gallons
Filled it back up with water from the 130
Added the fish to the 29 gal
Replaced 1 whisper HOB filter with the Eheim Pro II from the 130
Drained rest of 130 and removed gravel
Now I am waiting for my cousing to come in the morning and help me move the tank into the garage so I can get under it to clean it. There doesn't seem to be that much water around the tank and I have a feeling it is all trapped underneath the stand. I am going to get a rug-cleaning machine tomorrow morning before we move the tank.
I got the 130 used and don't feel like fixing it as I am not sure I would trust it now. As a matter of fact, I will probably be out of the house in another 2-3 years when I get my degree, so another tank probably isn't the best idea anyways.
Do you think everyone will be ok in the 29?
Here is the setup and current list of inhabitants for the 29gal (there have been no fish in it for over a month, but the filters have still been running):
6 red-finned danios
5 silver-tipped tetras
1 pearl gourami
1 botia striata
4 cory sterbai
Filter: eheim pro II and whisper 40
What a day
