My Loaches :)

Post by LoachFiend » Sun Feb 04, 2007 1:15 pm

Here's some pics of my loaches and friends lol :) I have 2 Angelicus, 3 Yo-yo's, 3 Hillstreams and 2 Skunks. I am also hoping to pick up a couple of Histrionicas in a few days :).

The yo-yo's and Skunks share an 80gal with a Green Terror(she's a BIG pussy cat LOL), Striped Barbs (dithers), 2 CAE's and a Pleco.

The Angelicus and Hillstreams share a 30gal with the eventual addition of a couple of Histrionicas and 6 Ameca Splendens.

I'm not sure which species of Hillstream they are, but they have a red and yellow dorsal fin.

nice pics and loaches!!

if i were you, i'd expand your shoals instead of getting a new species...loaches like being in large groups of their own kind..

in your last pic, i dont know what the top fish is (might be a CAE as you say) but the bottom fish looks like a garra species fish... :? they look alot different..

Both of those fish are Chinese Algae Eaters, 1 is like 6" and the other about 3" other than age and size they are identical fish :)

It's just the lighting, they are completely the same fish.

I'm in the Lower Mainland :)
