YoYo Loach Questions-- Please help!

Hi,

I was wondering-- has anyone seen a full size 6 inch yoyo loach? Has anyone purchased a 1 inch yoyo loach and had him grow to 6 inches in your tank? I've seen varying reports of the adult size of this loach, ranging from 3 to 6 inches.

Also, has anyone had any luck with mixing a school of yoyos with Blue/German or Bolivian Rams? In my current set up, the five yoyos only chase each other-- but I was wondering if that's just because the other fish in the tank can stick up for themselves.

Am I correct in assuming that most Rainbows would be fine with yoyos?

I'm attempting to plan a better stocking arrangement as I prepare to upgrade my tank. Thanks for your help!!

I've seen 2 different 6+ inch yoyos in 2 shops recently. Very impressive size but no loachy tank mates, they were both in with cichlids. One shop just called it a botia, the other, reticulated, as they had lost their yo markings.
