Don't know where that's got to. :? I'm thinking it may have been stored on the coppermine loach site, that is likely to be down for some time.

I remember the pic though, but can't think who was the photographer. Those were very dark examples. Maybe one of the others will remember who's it was.

Thanks Emma

Could you help me with a similar issue please? I need to try and find out where in the wild the fish we call rostrata are being caught. You have some images of some small specimens so I think you must have or get them in your shop. It would be VERY useful to my work if you could find out their origin.

These are the images I refer to:

Also Emma, I seem to remember you saying that nice patterned loach that you posted images of for me, came in with some almorhae? Can you remember whereabouts they were imported from?

Please help me Obi Wan Kenobi, youre my only hope.

Hi Steve. Tom Halvorsen has some solid twin barred Botia rostrata in. Same sized and very much the same as in the picture you posted. You could always give him a ring and ask. I'm sure he will be willing to help. Telephone: 0191 4877766

I'll do some digging for you Steve, these came in from my Indian supplier who has been quite forthcoming with info on the Crimson loaches. The unusual Botia that Helen has reserved came in with a batch of almorhae from this supplier, and he only ships native fish. I'll post here if I hear anything back from them.

It would be marvellous if you could find an accurate locality data. Please let them know that I am not interested in revealing their sources so as to cause problems for them with their competitors, but it is for a scientific paper and an exact location would be very useful for this.

:D
