clown with a white spot

Post by adimeatatime » Mon Feb 19, 2007 1:28 pm

Hi, you have such a great site.

I have been searching for information for a loach I have with a spot on his head.

edited to remove link.

I hope someone will be able to tell me what this is and what would be the best treatment. He/she is eating & is staying with his friends.

The tank is a 125g and has been set up for about 6 years
Approx 30% water change weekly
Last tests ammonia & nitrites were 0
Nitrates 40
PH is 7.2
temp 80

I am going to town today & will pick up maracyn 1 and 2 to have on hand. I read where they were suggested for some ailments. I have levamisole & pima & mela fix (I think I read not to use pima fix on loaches though?)

I lost a loach last week to skinny disease. I ordered the levamisole, but didn't recieve it in time to help him. Other fish seem fine.

Thanks,
Pat
