Kubotai Pics :)

Post by mamaschild » Tue Feb 13, 2007 11:03 am

I mentioned I got a second Kubotai a while back and I hadn't gotten good pics....well, here are a couple that aren't too bad.

When I got him/her the colors seemed a bit off to me...

But they look right now :):) (littler one on right)

It really suprised me, but my original guy took about 2 weeks to allow this guy around much. He constantly chased the little one, and I was afraid for a while there that they wouldn't be "budds". Now they are together most of the time :D

Beautiful, mamaschild! 8) Are you planning on adding some more to make a larger group?

Beautiful fish! Love the more mature markings, where the yellow stripes have closed up!

I've seen a couple locally that have the more mature markings, but only at Petsmart, where they are wanting $19.99 each... That's a bit rediculous in my opinion, since I bought my current ones for $4 each...

I agree - lovely looking fish.
I have had my 3 for about 8 weeks now and they have totally captured my heart :D They have such character, each one of them different, but all as sweet as each other!! They have started coming to the front of the tank and swimming up and down the glass every time I enter the room now, especially when I come home in the evenings! I love them to bits and can't wait until funds allow to make the group to 6...

Thanks everyone :D

I love the little guys, too. I would absolutely LOVE to have a couple dozen just to watch them interact......

here's some pics i snapped the other night, sorry for the low yellowy quality (my substrate is actually natural brown), my digi cam is old.
