bloodworms
Mine love frozen bloodworms. I use the frozen cubes and cut them in half and place them in a small cup. Add a little tank water and swirl it around until the cube melts and pour it in...your dojo will get some.
They also make Hikari sinking micro pellets and mine love those also.
Give that a try.
Good luck,
Kris

Have you loved your loach today?
I would definantly get your dojo a companion. I have 2, one is very sick right now. I have a male and a female and they have a lot of fun together. My dojo's like to dig around a little for their food so the Hikari sinking pellets are great. For a special treat I give them the frozen bloodworms and they are in heaven!mckinnon wrote:thanks alot, i was thinking maybe my dojo just isn't used to my tank yet i'v onlt had him about 3 or 4 days, i was also thinking about geting another loache and make a tank just for the dojo's

Depending on the size of the tank you could distract your goldies and feed them in one corner and the loaches in another. If they are common goldfish - they will swim faster and get to the food faster than fancies would.
My goldfish in the 90 gallon all race to the "feeding corner" to dance when I go near the tank.
I have two dojo loaches in quarantine now an they'll be going in the 90G with the goldfish. I know they will eat the same thing as the goldies - peas, bloodworms, mazuri gel, sinking pellets etc. I may have to overfeed and do two big water changes a week.
I'm wondering aso about some sort of feeding contraption like a pvc tube that I can put some sinking pellets or mazuri gel in that the goldfish won't be able to fit in if feeding becomes a problem.
