Congratulations on your purchase of some very healthy looking loaches
. I have had Y. eos in at our shop for some time now - they are so aggressive that they rarely get sold. The only other fish that seems safe with them are Y. lecontei. Even loaches of the Tiger botia group (S. helodes, S. hymenophysa, S. berdmorei etc) do not seem able to stand up to them.Here's a quick pic I took of one of ours just last week - apologies for the water marks on the glass though (I hadn't been intending to photograph these, but this one sat for ages in a good pose, so I just took one and hoped!)....
In a small tank, I would also think carefully about adding any dither fish - they are likely to end up in a bad way. Given a more roomy tank, it may be possible to get away with some fast moving dithers though.
