Aqua bid auction Identification?

Post by grizzlyone » Tue May 15, 2007 10:13 pm

Okay guys, how about some help?

There's a auction for "butterfly pleco" on Aquabid and I'm unsure of the species. Any thoughts?

Here's the link:

I'd say that was a pale Beaufortia kweichowensis specimen.

Thanks Emma!

I appreciate it, but you are still evil for posting such beautiful pictures and giving me a bad case of "loach envy"

I think you are misreading the ad ... the fish is shipped from Thailand. The shipping cost is $10 + domestic shipping, the latter is probably $30-$40. Double shipping is obviously hard on the fish too, and your are responsible for the shipping costs in case of DOA:
Full replacement for D.O.A. Buyer responsible for new shipping cost

these guys are ok.. not great. They sent me an obviously skinny american flag fish.

oh. there's a $35-$40 minimum purchase to most of these sites.
