Martin is correct about the power head and head pressure and it would not flow as much at the entry to the tank.I should have thought of that. But a large pump and pre filter could be used with a full width spray rail low on the tank also or a couple of diffusers. I see more clearly now as my original concern was over a 7' tank . I am going to do a couple of 20 breeders I have instead which will be better suited to the smaller hilli's.I added two Fluval4plus to simulate this for now in each of my larger tanks. I am very curious about this and have several sponges on hand.I will be watching your progress on this MadDuff
